At night I sit and think of ways,

To brighten up some people's days.

Will it work? I never know.

I think I can. So here it goes ...

I share my love by writing rhymes.

Repeat myself a thousand times.

I say to smile, enjoy your life,

Cherish family, hug your wife ...

Take a breath and rest a bit.

Prop your feet up while you sit.

The load's been lifted, God's right there.

He'll be your "shoulder" and your chair.

He'll be your guide if you allow.

He's there on call ... even now.
