Tell Someone You Love Them (Unedited)
To write a fine poem is sometimes a chore.
It's sculpting a picture with words that won't bore.
There's more to my poems than verbage and ink:
Like lines full of rhymes that cajole you to think.
As quick as you blink, my pen's in a race.
God's on my mind and He's setting the pace.
Let's face it, without Him we'd be up the creek
Or climbing a mountain without any peak.
But seek and you'll find, a pathway will glow;
Without any map you'll know where to go.
Who's showing the way? That's up to you -
"You get what you pay for." That saying is true.
Do you ask for God, sincere in your pleas?
He'll be the warmth, when you thought you'd freeze
But bad spirits tease with fraudulent goods -
Keep your eyes open and do what you should.
And try if you could to remember each day:
Tell someone you love them and mean what you say.
